Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Business Development Consultant to join our team. As a Sales Business Development Consultant, you will be responsible for increasing the gross profit within a specific territory by introducing our services to local businesses through telephone and outside sales. You will work closely with our senior consultant to achieve sales targets and grow our business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Generation and Conversion: Receive qualified leads from our Marketing & Lead Generation team and convert them into new business opportunities.
  2. Account Penetration and Growth: Penetrate existing customer accounts that are no longer active and develop new business opportunities to increase revenue.
  3. Relationship Building and Account Management: Build strong relationships with clients to analyze their business needs and provide tailored solutions to increase their cash flow.
  4. Cross-Selling and Upselling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell our services to existing clients to increase revenue.
  5. Sales Performance and Forecasting: Achieve monthly sales expectations and provide forecast input for inclusion in our Monthly Forecast.
  6. Business Development and Networking: Attend networking events to establish new business relationships and identify potential opportunities.
Requirements
  1. Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work collaboratively with clients to analyze business needs and provide solutions.
  2. Business Acumen and Sales Skills: Strong business and sales acumen, with the ability to negotiate and leverage expertise to help clients increase their cash flow.
  3. Flexibility and Adaptability: Flexibility to handle competing priorities, multitask, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  4. Customer Service and Relationship Building: Superior customer service experience and knowledge, with the ability to interface and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers.
  5. Leadership and Initiative: A leadership mindset with excellent work standards, taking initiative and thinking outside the box to exceed minimal expectations.
  6. Commission Structure and Travel: Comfort with a 100% commission structure and willingness to travel within a defined territory.
  7. Experience and Education: 5+ years of equivalent experience, ideally in human resources, real estate, business-to-business, and/or marketplace sales. A college degree is preferred but not required.
