About the Role

Dimeo Construction Company, a leading general contractor and construction manager, is seeking a seasoned professional to join its senior leadership team as a Director of Regional Business Development. This key position will be based in the company's greater Providence headquarters and will play a critical role in driving business growth and expansion in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Business Development Team in identifying and cultivating new relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and industry partners.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and expansion in the region.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and industry partners to position the company for ongoing and new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop and execute marketing strategies that support business development goals.
  • Provide leadership and support to the Business Development Team in Massachusetts and Boston office, as well as the RI & CT offices.
  • Actively participate in industry-wide events, including conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
  • Engage with local officials at municipal and state levels to stay informed about industry trends and opportunities.
  • Update and maintain the company's CRM platform to track new business activities and follow-up.
Requirements
  • 10-15 years of direct client business development consultancy experience, preferably in the construction industry.
  • 2-5 years of direct field operations experience in a project engineering, management, or superintendency role.
  • Minimum educational requirement includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) in a technical discipline, such as engineering, architecture, or business, with a graduate degree preferred.
