Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Product Development and Manufacturing teams at Tecomet, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, planning, directing, and coordinating the engineering departments to drive business growth and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to develop and implement product development and manufacturing strategies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business opportunities and drive process improvements
  • Develop and maintain technical competence and judgment to ensure sound engineering practices
  • Originate and apply new engineering methods and procedures to drive innovation and efficiency
  • Supervise, coordinate, train, coach, mentor, develop, and review the work of assigned staff
  • Administer company rules, regulations, policies, and ethics governing employment
  • Maintain professional competence, knowledge, and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities
Requirements
  • B.S. Degree in an Engineering field and 10+ years of experience in high precision CNC manufacturing and/or product development engineering
  • Experience in leading and managing people in a manufacturing environment
  • Computer literate with Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
  • Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
  • Exceptional team building, coaching, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in the Medical Device or Aerospace industry
  • Experience with validation and verification in a GMP ISO Medical Device environment
Work Environment

The employee could be required to stand. The employee could frequently be required to walk; use hand to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee could be required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee could occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
