Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Manufacturing and Product Development engineering departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, planning, directing, and coordinating the engineering teams to drive continuous improvement, process efficiency, and product development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Manufacturing and Product Development engineering teams to achieve business objectives and exceed plant performance metrics.
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies to improve product development, manufacturing processes, and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment on engineering initiatives.
  • Manage and administer engineering programs, including product development, process development, and validation.
  • Supervise, train, and develop engineering staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field and 10+ years of experience in high precision CNC manufacturing and/or product development engineering.
  • Experience in leading and managing people in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and project management principles.
  • Excellent communication, team building, and coaching skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in the Medical Device or Aerospace industry.
  • Experience with validation and verification in a GMP ISO Medical Device environment.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to drive business results and exceed customer expectations.
