Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the design, development, and scaling of innovative products and processes, ensuring seamless transition to production.
- Assist continuous improvement initiatives by formulating process methodologies, designing and sourcing equipment, and executing trials and validations.
- Supervise the installation, validation, and troubleshooting of equipment, ensuring adherence to both internal and external standards.
- Utilize Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to improve product and process quality, concentrating on critical operational metrics.
- Deliver technical assistance to production and maintenance teams, promoting knowledge-sharing and effective project execution.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including cost assessments, time management, and engineering coordination.
- Facilitate training for new equipment and fixtures, ensuring successful implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to effectively integrate engineering solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's degree is advantageous) with over 7 years of experience, including a minimum of 3 years in manufacturing.
- Familiarity with CNC lathing, PLC applications, and automation is preferred.
- Expertise in machine design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and complex machinery systems.
- Strong project management, communication, and analytical capabilities.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality management systems is beneficial.
