Job Summary

The YMCA of the USA is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as its next President and CEO. As the chief executive officer, you will be responsible for leading the organization's mission and vision, building trust with stakeholders, and driving growth and innovation across the service area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to achieve the organization's goals and objectives
  • Lead collaborative efforts to build and maintain productive working relationships with community stakeholders
  • Drive financial growth and sustainability through effective budgeting and fundraising strategies
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of staff and volunteers
  • Ensure the organization's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

Requirements

  • Accredited 4-year college degree
  • Minimum five years prior experience in a senior management role with a YMCA or related experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop and strengthen community relationships
  • Ability to develop new programs and review existing ones for effectiveness

Preferred Qualifications

  • YMCA Organizational Leader Certification
  • Fiscally sound business management approach
  • Strategic planning and fundraising experience
  • Proven history of budgetary and fiscal management
