About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading the introduction of new technologies into our mechanical and electrical engineering support teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform in-depth reviews of new hardware designs to ensure they meet our business requirements.
  • Manage relationships with engineering support teams and internal operations business partners to drive increases in robotic asset performance.
  • Identify business risks and needs of new products to successfully stand-up a maintenance program.
  • Demonstrate analytical and quantitative skills to develop business cases and drive decision-making.
  • Effectively interact and collaborate with customers, project sponsors, and multiple internal teams to define and deliver complex solutions.
  • Proactively recognize and drive opportunities to simplify processes and improve efficiency.
  • Contribute to and influence technical designs to ensure they meet our business needs.
  • Drive effective teamwork, communication, and collaboration across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.
  • Support the effective and efficient delivery of large, complex technical projects and programs.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and balance business needs with technical constraints.
  • Identify, assess, track, and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • 2+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in automated conveyor systems or controls, electrical and electronic principles, blueprint and electrical schematic reading, CMMS programs, preventive maintenance procedures, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics, industrial PC literacy, N.E.C.
  • Experience introducing new and experimental robotic assets to production working environments.
  • Experience delivering large-scale maintenance programs for autonomous vehicles.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
