Position Overview:

We are on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Applications Developer to become part of our new facility. This role presents a fantastic chance to utilize your technical expertise in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the main contact for all inquiries and issues related to applications.
  • Ensure all applications operate smoothly and are well-maintained.
  • Provide technical assistance and resolve application-related problems.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to align application systems with the overall IT infrastructure.
  • Oversee the implementation, configuration, and upgrades of ERP systems, including Infor XA and SAP.
  • Design and deliver training programs for users to improve their application skills.
  • Conduct regular audits of systems to identify issues and enhance performance.
  • Work with various departments to assess their application needs and deliver effective solutions.
  • Stay informed about the latest technology trends and recommend enhancements for existing systems.
  • Maintain thorough documentation for all application management processes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in application coordination or support within the engineering sector.
  • Expertise in managing ERP systems, particularly Infor XA or SAP.
  • Strong technical background in IT support and application management.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a knack for troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Proficient project management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • A collaborative team player who interacts effectively with all levels of staff.
  • Proven ability to stay current with technology trends and apply this knowledge to enhance systems.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to perform under pressure to meet deadlines.
