Position Overview:

We are on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Applications Developer to become part of our new facility. This role presents a unique chance to utilize your technical expertise in a forward-thinking and collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the main contact for all inquiries and issues related to applications.
  • Ensure the efficient operation and upkeep of all software applications.
  • Provide technical assistance and resolve application-related challenges.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless integration of application systems with the overall IT framework.
  • Oversee the deployment, configuration, and enhancement of ERP systems, including Infor XA and SAP.
  • Design and implement training sessions for users to improve their application proficiency.
  • Conduct regular audits of systems to pinpoint potential issues and ensure peak performance.
  • Work closely with various departments to assess their application requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.
  • Stay informed about the latest technological advancements and recommend enhancements for current systems.
  • Maintain thorough documentation for all application management processes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in application coordination or support within the engineering sector.
  • Expertise in managing ERP systems, particularly Infor XA or SAP.
  • Strong technical background in IT support and application management.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and proficiency in troubleshooting complex application issues.
  • Strong project management capabilities with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of staff.
  • Proven ability to stay current with technology trends and apply this knowledge to enhance existing systems.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to perform under pressure to meet deadlines.
