  • Design Responsibilities: Create both powered and gravity conveyor systems, including flexible and rigid designs tailored to client specifications.
  • Engineering Tasks: Engage in diverse engineering functions, including research and development projects, electrical schematic creation, and troubleshooting product-related challenges.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to provide guidance, manage technical drawings, and oversee 3-D modeling efforts to fulfill project objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Actively participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives, contributing to enhancements in processes and operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee CAD modelers, develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Methods of Operation (MOMs), and design custom conveyor solutions.
  • Conduct structural assessments, produce electrical schematics, and perform site evaluations as needed.
  • Utilize Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD for precise 3-D modeling and drafting, ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in engineering and design, with proficiency in ERP systems and 3-D CAD software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with a solid understanding of industry standards and regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively on the shop floor, interpret technical documentation, and utilize MS Office and CAD applications.

Physical Requirements:

This position involves a combination of sitting, standing, and occasional lifting, along with visual tasks and manual dexterity.

Work Environment:

The role encompasses both office and manufacturing settings, providing a dynamic work experience.
