Key Responsibilities:

As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
  • Enhancing and refining financial reporting
  • Developing and optimizing reporting systems


Key tools and systems include:
• Salesforce
• Business Intelligence Tools
• ERP Systems
• HR Databases

Your role will also involve:
  • Automating month-end financial close processes
  • Streamlining month-end reporting
  • Improving visibility and understanding of cost structures
  • Enhancing insights into manufacturing variances and purchase price variances
  • Developing detailed cost center and profit center reports
  • Driving efficiency improvements across various operational metrics


Additionally, you will:
  • Collaborate with Operations Management while ensuring accountability
  • Conduct inventory analysis and control
  • Minimize slow-moving and obsolete inventory
  • Maintain lean inventory practices
  • Enhance inventory accuracy
  • Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
  • Facilitate the automation of business processes across departments
  • Occasionally travel to other company locations


The Financial Controller will also play a crucial role in:
  • Supporting the development and enhancement of various systems, including:
    • XA ERP
    • Ceridian Payroll
    • Time and Attendance Systems
    • Salesforce
    • Factory and Production Data Collection Systems
    • Power BI Reporting
  • Mapping business processes and implementing best practices
  • Formulating project plans and budgets in collaboration with the CFO
  • Coordinating workloads and meetings between external partners and internal resources
  • Assisting the CFO in managing project plans and external partnerships
  • Monitoring project timelines and costs
  • Providing updates on progress and budget adherence
  • Documenting business process requirements and reporting needs
  • Coordinating the production of blueprint documents and statements of work
  • Collaborating with various departments, including Sales, Production, Purchasing, Shipping, Customer Service, and Technical Support
  • Performing other duties as assigned


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Accounting qualification
  • Experience in accounting, business analysis, or a related role
  • Preferred experience in systems implementation
  • Strong attention to detail
