Job Overview:
The Attendance Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the attendance policy within the organization by leveraging the attendance tracking system, rectifying discrepancies, and assisting supervisors throughout the attendance management process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily input and coding of HR-related absences, including leaves of absence, FMLA/STD, and medical documentation.
  • Correct attendance records as necessary.
  • Generate, review, and distribute attendance warnings to management.
  • Verify accuracy of termination warnings before they are issued to management.
  • Provide various attendance reports to HR and management teams.
  • Administer perfect attendance credits for employee recognition programs.
  • Maintain the warnings database by closing completed warnings and following up on outstanding issues.

Policy Guidance:
  • Offer policy advice to employees, supervisors, and management.
  • Manage all types of leave, including LOA, FMLA, and STD.
  • Track leave status and maintain files while employees are on leave until their return.

Support for HR Initiatives:
  • Assist HR with various projects, functions, and activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Efficient and accurate execution of tasks.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse personalities.
  • Flexibility and resourcefulness in adapting to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Communication Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with staff and management.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Effective time management and prioritization abilities.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year of prior administrative or policy interpretation experience.
  • Associate degree or a combination of relevant work and educational experience.
  • Experience in food processing or manufacturing environments is preferred.
