  • Design Responsibilities: Create both powered and gravity-based conveyor systems, including flexible and rigid designs.
  • Engineering Tasks: Engage in a variety of engineering projects, conduct research and development, develop electrical schematics, and address product-related challenges.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues, provide guidance on project requirements, and manage technical drawings and 3-D models.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives, contribute to enhancing operational processes, and promote efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide CAD modelers, develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Methods of Operation (MOMs), and design customized conveyor systems.

  • Utilize Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD for accurate 3-D modeling and technical drawings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in engineering and design, with proficiency in ERP systems and 3-D CAD modeling.
  • Strong analytical skills, familiarity with industry standards, and effective collaboration abilities.
  • Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing environments, with the ability to interpret technical documents and use MS Office and CAD software.

Physical Requirements:

This position involves a mix of sitting, standing, and occasional lifting, along with visual tasks and manual dexterity.

Work Setting:

The role encompasses both office and manufacturing environments.
