The Marketing Support Specialist role is designed to provide comprehensive marketing, graphic design, and administrative assistance to commercial real estate professionals within the Capital Markets Group.
This position is responsible for implementing both corporate marketing strategies and localized initiatives.Additionally, this role serves as the primary contact for graphic design and analytical support for the marketing packages developed by the San Diego team, which are managed remotely.
The primary objective of this position is to deliver exceptional marketing, graphic design, and administrative support within the industry while strengthening the SRS brand.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the success of SRS' leading retail real estate professionals and enhance the visibility of the SRS brand in the local market.
This position demands a proactive, customer-service-oriented mindset and offers a well-rounded marketing experience with opportunities to expand knowledge and skills across various marketing disciplines, graphic design, analytics, and commercial real estate.

Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Graphic Design:
- Ensure all communications, presentations, and marketing materials uphold the SRS brand and adhere to established brand guidelines.
- Develop print and digital marketing packages and presentations for property listings.
- Execute and distribute email campaigns for property listings.
- Create and manage all marketing presentations and materials.
- Maintain and update property listings and client information on relevant platforms.
- Organize and segment contact databases, email distribution lists, and invitation lists.
- Assist research analysts with creating market aerial maps and conducting demographic and traffic count research.
- Support the preparation of documents related to property listings, including reporting spreadsheets and press releases.
- Utilize Apto (Salesforce-based business management software) to aid brokers in tracking their listings and business development efforts.
- Manage local office social media accounts by maintaining brand standards and regularly distributing relevant content to boost engagement.
Analytics:
- Collaborate with the Analyst team to ensure financial integrity is incorporated into all marketing materials.
- Prepare commercial real estate sales packages and submissions for broker and buyer presentations.
- Represent SRS to internal and external partners/clients, instilling confidence in the organization.
- Coordinate market and occupancy data, expense analysis, rent/sales information, maps, aerials, and comparables.
- Understand basic financial summaries for all active listings.
- Organize and present data analysis, offering recommendations.
Office Management:
- Perform general office management duties, including greeting visitors, assisting with traffic flow, and managing vendor communications.
- Order and maintain office supplies, ensuring appropriate inventory levels.
Qualifications:
- Team-oriented with a strong customer-service focus.
- Demonstrated work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting critical deadlines.
- Basic understanding of commercial real estate or relevant experience is required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in marketing, graphic design, advertising, finance, or business.
- Experience or knowledge in financial modeling, budget preparation, and financial reporting is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong grammar skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience in email marketing, public relations, social media, and database management is preferred.
