Your Role in Driving Success
  • This role is crucial within our Private Non-Profit team, where you will be responsible for meeting objectives and outcomes. You will oversee team members and manage a variety of programs and processes, in addition to navigating complex underwriting scenarios.
  • Success in this position requires effectively balancing the interests of various stakeholders and making informed decisions based on data, analysis, experience, judgment, and a risk-aware mindset. Building strong relationships with brokers and exemplifying high standards of customer service will be essential.
  • People management is a vital component of this role - you will foster a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and continuous learning while mentoring and developing team members through effective leadership and training initiatives. Your focus will be on facilitating personal growth and career advancement, supporting succession planning.
  • You will also contribute significantly to new business development by participating in broker events and establishing new market relationships.
Qualifications for Success
  • Demonstrated underwriting experience in Financial Lines with a successful track record of product sales.
  • In-depth technical knowledge.
  • Proven leadership abilities and experience in developing junior team members.
  • Capability to analyze financial statements.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Customer-focused and sales-oriented mindset: motivated, tenacious, technically proficient, proactive, and accountable.
