This pivotal role involves managing relationships with our Global, National, and Regional Insurance Brokers and Agents to drive profitable growth through a diverse and comprehensive range of commercial insurance offerings.

The Assistant Vice President, Regional Insurance Leader will be responsible for gaining in-depth knowledge of Zurich's key trading partners, including understanding their business models and propositions, and developing strategic business plans that align with our organizational market strategies.

In this capacity, you will serve as a key leader, guiding the underwriting team to achieve financial growth targets while ensuring Zurich remains a top choice among the broker community.

Your responsibilities will include marketing and promoting the long-term development of new revenue-generating programs, as well as enhancing field personnel and operational capabilities through effective performance, financial management, and special projects.

This position emphasizes high-efficiency solution-selling to support business and field development initiatives.

You will also play a crucial role in coaching and mentoring underwriting teams, contributing significantly to the Zurich regional leadership team.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 7 or more years of experience in Sales OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 9 or more years of experience in Sales OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate Degree and 7 or more years of experience in Sales AND Leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams, both internally and externally.

Preferred Qualifications:
Strong comprehension of the commercial insurance landscape from both market and underwriting perspectives.
Established broker network within the State of Georgia.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in developing long-term revenue-generating sales programs.
Ability to implement effective sales strategies.
Proficient in identifying business trends, market condition changes, and competitor activities.
Experience in account underwriting and negotiations with agents/brokers.
