Position Overview
As a BSA Compliance Analyst at Kansas Action for Children, you will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough daily evaluations of reports generated through the organization's BSA/AML monitoring systems.
- Perform comprehensive reviews and trend analysis of BSA/AML monitoring alerts on a daily and monthly basis.
- Review and investigate Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) reports, reporting any positive matches as required.
- Identify and assess potential high-risk clients through various channels, coordinating the collection of Customer Identification Program (CIP) information and conducting due diligence.
- Utilize and assess the account risk rating process and monitoring platforms.
- Execute periodic reviews for high-risk clients and prepare Currency Transaction Reports for further examination.
- Conduct reviews of exempt clients as necessary.
- Investigate and compile cases for the SAR Committee, preparing Suspicious Activity Reports for further review.
- Act as a liaison between the BSA Department, bank branches, and other internal departments.
- Provide support to colleagues in the BSA Department during peak monitoring periods or in the absence of team members.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred; however, relevant experience will be taken into account.
- Preference will be given to candidates with industry-related certifications.
- Strong understanding of BSA/AML regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Familiarity with integrated and automated BSA monitoring systems.
- Experience in front-line or back-office banking operations is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and recordkeeping abilities.
- Ability to analyze and interpret banking publications, policies, and regulations.
- Proficient in problem-solving, data collection, and drawing valid conclusions.
- Competent in computer applications, including Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to perform essential job functions with minimal supervision.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and adapting to changing priorities.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and organization is essential.
- Good judgment and decision-making skills are required.

Physical Requirements
This role involves regular standing, walking, bending, and squatting. Occasional lifting or moving of items up to 25 pounds may be required.

Work Environment
This position is primarily office-based, requiring interaction with computers and electronic media.
