Are you driven by accuracy and detail? Do you possess a knack for analytical thinking? We are seeking a meticulous individual to become a part of our Finance team as a Tax Analyst.

In this capacity, you will engage in a diverse range of accounting and taxation duties, which encompass the preparation of sales tax submissions, annual financial reports, and 1099 forms for various entities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare sales tax submissions across multiple jurisdictions for various entities

- Investigate state-specific sales tax regulations

- Compile annual reports for multiple states on behalf of various entities

- Organize mailings for quarterly and annual tax submissions

- Assist in the preparation of tax payments and maintain spreadsheets related to tax submissions

Qualifications:
- Prior experience with QuickBooks

- Experience in preparing tax returns

- Capability to independently research and interpret state tax laws to ensure compliance and accuracy in tax return preparation

- Strong time management skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment

- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, reliable, and focused on quality

Organizational Skills:
- Ability to manage a substantial workload while balancing various competing priorities

- Capacity to work autonomously, as well as collaboratively within a team

- Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree

- Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping

- Relevant professional experience
