Position Overview:

SiriusXM, a leader in audio entertainment, is seeking a Head of Performance Marketing to spearhead media purchasing and user acquisition initiatives for its brands, including Pandora. This pivotal role involves the development, forecasting, management, and optimization of direct response advertising campaigns across various marketing channels such as Programmatic Display, paid search, paid social, and affiliate marketing.

Impact of the Role:

The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing vendor management, campaign execution, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional team collaboration. As a media buying expert, you will establish a strategic roadmap and guide your team towards achieving performance objectives.

Core Duties:

  • Own and manage goals, KPIs, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Develop media strategies to enhance performance and facilitate growth.
  • Identify and create testing opportunities (A/B and multivariate tests) to improve campaign efficiency and scale.
  • Formulate strategies to optimize segmentation, targeting, personalization, and reach across paid channels.
  • Enhance vendor relationships to boost performance and operational efficiency while ensuring accountability for KPI targets.
  • Compile, manage, and present campaign reports to communicate performance insights and learnings.
  • Lead and mentor a team of media buyers.
  • Collaborate with analytics and product teams to convey data and technical requirements for marketing initiatives, prioritizing based on business goals.

Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of experience in performance marketing, media buying, or growth roles.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a people management capacity, including hiring and mentoring.
  • 1-3 years of experience in media buying on DSP platforms such as DV360, The Trade Desk, or similar.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Expertise in paid media execution, ad technology, tracking, and analytics; familiarity with Mobile Measurement and UTM codes.
  • Experience in conducting content, segmentation, and A/B testing to enhance efficiency and scale.
  • Hands-on experience with bidded media buying and a thorough understanding of auction dynamics across platforms like Google Ads, DV360, Meta, and others.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and prioritization abilities, coupled with a passion for operational efficiency.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
