Job Summary

The Account Lead plays a critical role in leading and coordinating marketing deliverables while supporting senior associates and account executives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead and manage assigned projects, implementing client deliverables and executing corporate initiatives.
  • Marketing Strategy: Work with the MarCom team and clients to identify and communicate cutting-edge trends related to exceptional professional experiences.
  • Client Support: Support senior MarCom staff on assigned clients and/or projects.
  • Business Development: Partner with the account manager to monitor, formulate, and present relevant trends and data to assigned clients.
  • Relationship Management: Coordinate client calls, create project schedules, schedule meetings and presentations, and manage ongoing relationships.
  • Communication: Write client-facing emails, take comprehensive notes, and follow up on meetings with succinct next steps and related documentation.
  • Project Coordination: Keep assigned clients and projects on time and on budget.
  • Marketing Planning: Assist with business development and new business opportunities.
  • Presentation: Make presentations to committees/Boards of Directors as appropriate.
  • Marketing Strategy Development: Develop and execute growth-focused marketing plans for assigned clients and their individual functional areas.

  • Client Satisfaction: Proactively alerts supervisors to challenges or concerns related to delivery of service.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively suggests solutions to challenges encountered.
  • Quality of Work: Effectively self-reviews work product and produces limited errors.
  • Attention to Detail: Pays attention to detail related to management of relevant databases.
  • Communication Skills: Excellence and accuracy in written communications.
  • Work Ethic: Industrious, self-starter.
  • Time Management: Ability to work autonomously and time manage between clients and competing priorities.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma required.
  • Experience: Two years of experience in marketing, communications, and/or accounting. Agency experience preferred.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer relationship experience.
Language Skills
  • Communication: Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in written form with management, internal and external customers.
Reasoning Ability
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues.
