Job Responsibilities

The role involves leading the delivery of professional nursing care, ensuring patient comfort and well-being. You will utilize the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care for patients and their families. Additionally, you will implement medically prescribed interventions.

Qualifications Required:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN program with completion within five years of hire. Exemptions may apply for experienced RNs.
  • Preferred Education: Master’s degree in Nursing.
  • Licensure: Current RN license with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; eNLC license may apply.
  • Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
  • Preferred Certification: National certification in a nursing specialty.
  • Experience: One year of hospital nursing experience preferred.
