Qualifications Required:

Education: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required, or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program with completion of a BSN within five years of hire. RNs with ten or more years of experience are exempt from this requirement.

Preferred Education: A Master's degree in Nursing.

Licensure/Certifications: Current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing is mandatory. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) licensure may apply; candidates should confirm with NCBON.

Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider certification is required.

Preferred Licensure/Certifications: National certification in a relevant specialty is preferred.

Preferred Experience: A minimum of one year of nursing experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

Mission Hospital is a flagship facility located in Asheville, North Carolina, licensed for 815 beds. It has been recognized as one of America's 50 Best Hospitals and consistently ranks in the top 1% of hospitals nationwide for clinical quality.
