Key Responsibilities
The role involves providing leadership that facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care aimed at ensuring patient comfort and well-being. You will utilize the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education for both patients and their families. Additionally, you will implement medically prescribed interventions.
Qualifications
- Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN program with completion within five years of hire. Exemptions may apply for experienced RNs.
- Preferred Education: Master’s degree in Nursing.
- Required Licensure/Certifications: Current RN licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; eNLC license may be applicable.
- Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
- Preferred Licensure/Certifications: National certification in a nursing specialty.
- Preferred Experience: Minimum of one year of hospital nursing experience.
