Position Overview

The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a Senior Analyst for Claims Services to join our dedicated team. This role involves the thorough examination of various documents, including correspondence, medical records, and claims data, to ensure efficient follow-up until all issues are resolved. The selected candidate will meticulously document each interaction and consult with supervisors when necessary to expedite resolutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process agreement forms while providing essential support and follow-up for order responses.
  • Assist in facilitating issue resolution and offer support to customers and interdepartmental teams as required.
  • Conduct routine follow-ups on claims and maintain detailed records of all communications.

Compensation Structure

The Commonwealth of Virginia offers a competitive compensation framework for this position, classified under a unique pay grade system that allows for flexibility and competitiveness.

Telework Policy

Currently, our agency operates under a hybrid telework model. Candidates should be prepared to report to the office as needed, with telework arrangements determined by departmental needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in supervisory roles, including training and developing team members.
  • Proven ability to work in a high-volume production environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical and technical issues.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data management.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks with a keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of USPS regulations related to correspondence management.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required.

Additional Considerations

Familiarity with the business processes of the Commonwealth of Virginia is preferred.
