Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Large Loss Adjuster to join our team. As a Large Loss Adjuster, you will be responsible for handling complex property claims, providing expert appraisals, and working with carriers to resolve disputes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough investigations of large loss claims, gathering evidence and assessing damages
  • Provide expert appraisals and recommendations to carriers and policyholders
  • Work with public adjusters, opposing appraisers, and umpires to resolve contested claims
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and policyholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in residential and commercial property adjusting and construction
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, construction practices, and residential and commercial construction
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Current, active Xactimate license and experience writing damage estimates
  • Ability to pass a background screen
