Job Overview
This role is dedicated to delivering exceptional assistance to individuals regarding their Admission and Registration inquiries. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of all facets of Enrollment Services and the institution, alongside proficiency in utilizing the College's information systems for data retrieval and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Student Services, providing outstanding customer service.
  • Evaluate student requirements and offer direct support in navigating the application process, class enrollment, document collection, payment processing, funding applications, and understanding necessary forms and procedures related to Enrollment Services.
  • Deliver personalized assistance to students, including analyzing and resolving individual concerns and aiding with online self-service accounts (updating personal information, applying for financial aid, fulfilling requirements).
  • Address inquiries related to Student Financial Services (e.g., payment options, payment plans, general financial aid, and veterans' services).
  • Serve as a vital connection between clients and the institution by referring them to academic departments, counselors, instructional staff, and other personnel as necessary.
  • Develop, research, and revise materials to ensure access to information for clients, staff, and the public.
  • Compile and prepare correspondence and documents for distribution.
  • Gather, coordinate, maintain, and oversee institutional processes to generate reports for internal and external stakeholders, including compliance with State and Federal regulations.
  • Provide information to students, parents, staff, and the public in person, via telephone, mail, and online, utilizing extensive knowledge of confidentiality regulations and institutional policies.
  • Take responsibility for a specific area of expertise within Enrollment Services, focusing on that area during peak processing times.
  • Admissions: Manage application processing, determine admission criteria, attach necessary documentation, communicate admission decisions, and maintain waitlists as needed.
  • Registration: Record enrollments for various class formats, maintain daily logs of student academic records, process transcript requests, and manage receipt distribution.
  • Support the academic counseling team and student advisors, assist with student life activities, and serve as a liaison for financial aid and employment services.


Additional Responsibilities
  • Cross-train and provide support within Enrollment Services.
  • Handle challenging or sensitive situations with clients effectively.
  • Contribute to the development of Student Services initiatives and engage in collaborative decision-making.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and distribution of supplies; prepare regular reports for internal divisions and external audits.
  • Assist with events such as Open Houses and New Student Orientations.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Associate Degree in Administrative Assistance or a related field, AND
  • Two years of relevant office and customer service experience, OR
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft is preferred.
