As we embark on a new chapter of growth, we are seeking a Head of Operations to join our leadership team and guide our operational management during this exciting expansion.

Role Overview
We are in search of a dynamic and seasoned Head of Operations, Fulfillment & Last Mile to enhance our team. This role will focus on spearheading data-driven operational excellence, refining our systems and processes, and advancing our logistics framework that caters to both enterprise retailers and direct-to-consumer eCommerce clients. The position will report directly to the company founders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute a scalable logistics framework to accommodate rapid growth in fleet management, middle mile transport, sortation, warehouse operations, fulfillment, and last mile delivery.
  • Lead the establishment of data-centric procedures and systems throughout the organization to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Create and implement comprehensive supply chain metrics, cost models, and KPIs to evaluate performance and monitor progress towards objectives.
  • Oversee daily logistics operations and workforce management, ensuring timely and cost-effective fulfillment and delivery.
  • Manage partnerships with third-party logistics providers and negotiate contracts to enhance cost-effectiveness and service quality.
  • Provide leadership for ongoing improvements in the current logistics framework, including processes, technology, physical infrastructure, and vendor relationships.
  • Take direct responsibility for P&L, compliance, and workforce management, including hiring, training, and developing logistics personnel.
  • Proactively address supply chain challenges, risks, and opportunities with senior management and foster collaborative solutions.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to anticipate demand fluctuations and adjust resources accordingly to optimize assets.
Qualifications
  • 10-15 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, third-party logistics, last-mile delivery, or a related field, particularly in a startup environment.
  • Extensive experience in developing logistics and last-mile operations for both retail and direct-to-consumer eCommerce sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling operations from early-stage companies to series B or beyond in a senior leadership capacity, with direct P&L accountability.
  • Proven ability to leverage technology and analytical solutions to enhance logistical processes and achieve business goals.
  • Strong grasp of supply chain best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Compensation
  • Competitive total compensation package ranging from 150K-180K (including bonuses) along with an attractive stock option plan as a key leader in our early-stage company.
