Mackenzie Stuart is collaborating closely with a prominent global third-party logistics provider in the recruitment of a Vice President of Business Development (Individual Contributor) who specializes in international Freight Forwarding, encompassing both Air and Ocean services.
Our client achieved $3 billion in global revenue in the previous year and is expanding its footprint in the United States, currently operating across 13 locations nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively pursue and secure business with both new and existing clients, emphasizing Air and Ocean Freight Forwarding.
- Manage new sales initiatives as an individual contributor, concentrating on acquiring new business and enhancing existing accounts.
- Travel to significant client sites to foster and develop high-level relationships throughout the industry.
- Collaborate closely with clients to pinpoint growth prospects and address any concerns.
- Report directly to the Senior Vice President of Sales.
Qualifications:
- 7 to 10+ years of sales experience within the industry, focusing on Global Air and Ocean Freight Forwarding.
- Demonstrated success in individual sales roles, achieving a return of three times the seat cost.
- Preferred experience in specific verticals or export business.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
A competitive base salary of $150k-$200k is available for this role, along with additional benefits and bonus potential.
