Position Overview:

As a key member of the executive team, the Vice President of Revenue Management will report directly to the CEO of a premier logistics provider specializing in a comprehensive range of services, including air and ocean freight forwarding, cold storage, customs brokerage, and e-commerce solutions. This organization is recognized globally for its leadership in air freight forwarding, particularly in handling temperature-sensitive shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a robust growth strategy focused on enhancing sales, operational efficiency, and customer service excellence across targeted sectors such as Pharmaceuticals, Government, and Perishables.
  • Drive client initiatives across critical global trade routes while collaborating with regional management to meet and exceed growth targets.
  • Craft innovative service propositions that align with client capabilities, facilitating full sales cycles and promoting client base expansion.
  • Act as a subject matter expert within the industry, providing training and support to both internal teams and external partners, ensuring a customer-centric approach across all products and services.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in international freight forwarding, consolidations, and co-loading.
  • Proven success in selling to freight forwarders and managing global accounts.
  • Strong understanding of air freight operations and temperature-controlled logistics.
  • Experience with complex sales processes and consultative selling strategies.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Familiarity with trade lanes including Asia, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and the Middle East.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in selling to shippers and providing value-added services such as customs brokerage and warehousing.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese or Spanish is a plus.
