Senior Vice President of Revenue Optimization

Position Overview:
As a key member of the executive team, the Vice President of Revenue Management will report directly to the CEO of a premier logistics provider specializing in a comprehensive range of services, including air and ocean freight forwarding, cold storage, customs brokerage, and e-commerce solutions. This organization is recognized globally for its leadership in air freight forwarding, particularly in handling temperature-sensitive shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a robust growth strategy focused on enhancing sales, operational efficiency, and customer service excellence across targeted sectors such as Pharmaceuticals, Government, and Perishables.
- Drive client initiatives across critical global trade routes while collaborating with regional management to meet and exceed growth targets.
- Craft innovative service propositions that align with client capabilities, facilitating full sales cycles and promoting client base expansion.
- Act as a subject matter expert within the industry, providing training and support to both internal teams and external partners, ensuring a customer-centric approach across all products and services.
Required Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in international freight forwarding, consolidations, and co-loading.
- Proven success in selling to freight forwarders and managing global accounts.
- Strong understanding of air freight operations and temperature-controlled logistics.
- Experience with complex sales processes and consultative selling strategies.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Familiarity with trade lanes including Asia, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and the Middle East.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in selling to shippers and providing value-added services such as customs brokerage and warehousing.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese or Spanish is a plus.
