POSITION SUMMARY
Senior Accounting Manager

Reports to:
Chief Executive Officer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role operates under the guidance of the Chief Executive Officer alongside the Chief Financial Officer and designated personnel to manage the accounting operations for the League of Human Dignity, Inc., its affiliated organizations, and subsidiaries.

Core Duties Include:
  • Establishing and upholding financial operational systems and procedures.
  • Overseeing all invoicing and collections of accounts receivable.
  • Preparing and tracking budgets in collaboration with the CEO and relevant team members.
  • Managing cash flow effectively.
  • Monitoring budget performance and comparing it with actual revenue and expenses on a year-to-date basis.
  • Generating reports promptly and comprehensively as required.
  • Administering payroll functions.
  • Coordinating the annual audits of the organization.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles, practices, and software.
  • Ability to comprehend and execute complex verbal and written instructions.
  • Must possess reliable transportation.
  • Proven capability to apply advanced accounting principles to maintain fiscal integrity.
  • Ability to perform various mathematical calculations quickly and accurately.
  • Demonstrated capacity to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:
  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher in business or accounting is required.
  • 5-8 years of full-time accounting experience in an organization with a budget of at least $5 million, preferably in a non-profit setting.
  • Experience working with local, state, and federal government entities is advantageous.
  • Management experience, including supervisory responsibilities, is required.

WORK SCHEDULE:
Standard hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with flexibility required to fulfill job responsibilities.

Salary is commensurate with education and experience, ranging from $90,000 to $105,000 annually.
