As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will spearhead the campus-wide adoption of new Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) regulations, ensuring compliance with federal cost accounting standards. This includes overseeing service center evaluations, preparing F&A proposals, implementing GASB standards, supporting audits, and maintaining cost centers.

Your role will also involve assisting with the preparation of audit documentation, managing year-end processes, and engaging in various accounting initiatives.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting along with three years of relevant professional accounting experience is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is essential. A solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is crucial. Candidates must possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as strong organizational and analytical abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with QuickBooks is preferred. A CPA designation is desirable.

Posted Salary:
$75,000/yr minimum
