As a key member of the Human Resources organization at Marriott International, this role contributes to the development and implementation of human resource generalist knowledge and expertise for multiple properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management, and development for property employees, utilizing technology efficiently and coaching/developing others to execute brand/business service strategy/initiatives and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies across properties to deliver products and services that meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand's target customer and property employees.
- Partner with property management to hire and train Human Resources staff members who demonstrate strong functional expertise, creativity, and leadership to meet the employee relations needs of the property.
- Coordinate with properties to manage their human capital planning, analyze open positions to balance the development of existing talent and business needs, and ensure appropriate sourcing and recruitment strategies are implemented.
- Lead the planning of the hourly employee total compensation strategy, champion the communication and proper use of total compensation systems, tools, programs, policies, etc.
- Prepare, analyze, and distribute results of Internal Equity and Comp Ratio reports, document and provide input on any out-of-guidelines management compensation adjustments for regional approval.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major; 4 years experience in the human resources, management operations, or related professional area.
- 4-year bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in the human resources, management operations, or related professional area.
