Position Overview

The Senior Executive Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of executive functions. This individual must excel in organizing, prioritizing, and executing tasks efficiently. Building and nurturing strong relationships both within the organization and with external partners is essential. The ideal candidate will be approachable, respectful, and adept with modern technology, including virtual meeting platforms and scheduling systems. Given the culture of accountability at Perkins Management Services Company, this role requires someone who is proactive and capable of making administrative decisions independently.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the executive's calendar and appointments, collaborating closely to optimize time management.
  • Participate in special projects, committees, or represent the department as needed.
  • Handle incoming mail and emails, ensuring timely distribution and response.
  • Maintain a comprehensive electronic and physical filing system.
  • Oversee travel arrangements, including air travel, ground transportation, and accommodations, ensuring all details are communicated effectively.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, memos, and document meeting notes as required.
  • Occasionally assist with personal tasks for the Executive Team.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications or 3-5 years of relevant experience in an administrative support role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to draft professional documents.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with email platforms and virtual meeting tools such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adaptability to new technologies.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience in coordinating events, meetings, and conferences.

Desired:

  • Certification as a Certified Administrative Professional (CAP).
  • Microsoft Office certifications.

This position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
