**Role Overview**:
We are in search of a seasoned Business Development Executive to enhance our footprint in the Northeast market. This newly created role presents an exceptional opportunity for driven sales professionals who thrive in a flexible, target-oriented setting.

**Key Responsibilities**:
  • Develop and secure new freight forwarding business across all modes and services in the Northeast market.
  • Report directly to senior management.
  • Additional duties include: scheduling appointments, qualifying leads, conducting warm and cold calls, pricing, preparing proposals, delivering face-to-face client presentations, and offering innovative solutions to capture new business. You will also maintain client relationships through collaboration with our operations team and global partners.
  • Utilize the CargoWise system (CRM) diligently, manage pipeline reporting, and ensure effective internal communication regarding sales cycles.

**Qualifications**:
  • Proven success in Freight Forwarding Sales.
  • College degree preferred, although a high school diploma with substantial sales experience may be considered.
  • Familiarity with the Northeast regional markets.
  • Understanding of Trans-Pacific, European, and Latin American trade routes.
  • Experience in multimodal sales (Air, Ocean, Import, Export, LCL/FCL, Brokerage FTL/LTL).
  • Demonstrated skills in business development and territory management.
  • Proficient in computer applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
