Job Description:

FreightTAS LLC is seeking a seasoned Global Sales Director to lead our freight forwarding sales efforts. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our market presence, and building strong relationships with clients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global sales strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to penetrate these markets.
  • Set and achieve sales targets, both on a regional and global scale.
Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a global sales team to achieve high performance and drive results.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and customer focus within the sales team.
  • Provide regular performance feedback and professional development opportunities for the team.
Market & Industry Analysis:
  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Stay updated with industry developments, regulatory changes, and economic factors impacting the freight forwarding industry.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to executive leadership based on market analysis.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders globally.
  • Develop customized solutions to meet client needs and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service across all regions.
Collaboration & Communication:
  • Collaborate with other departments such as Operations, Finance, and Marketing to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Communicate sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives to the executive team.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Financial Management:
  • Manage the global sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Monitor sales performance against budget and forecast, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Drive profitability through effective pricing strategies and cost management.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of sales management experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of success in driving global sales and achieving revenue targets.
  • Experience in managing large, diverse teams across multiple regions.
