**Job Responsibilities:**
We are in search of a skilled Business Development Executive to enhance our market presence in the Northeast region. This role presents an excellent opportunity for driven sales professionals who thrive in a flexible, results-oriented environment.
- **Develop and Acquire New Business:** You will focus on expanding our freight forwarding services across all modes and offerings in the Northeast market.
- **Reporting Structure:** You will report directly to senior management.
- **Key Duties Include:**
- Setting appointments, qualifying leads, and conducting both warm and cold calls.
- Preparing pricing proposals and delivering face-to-face client presentations.
- Providing innovative solutions to secure new business opportunities.
- Maintaining client relationships through collaboration with our operations team and global partners.
- **System Utilization:** Proficient use of the CargoWise system (CRM), pipeline reporting, and effective internal communication regarding sales cycles are essential for success in this role.
**Job Requirements:**
- **Proven Success:** A demonstrated track record in Freight Forwarding Sales.
- **Educational Background:** A college degree is preferred; however, a high school diploma with substantial sales experience may be considered.
- **Market Knowledge:** Familiarity with the Northeast regional markets.
- **Trade Lane Expertise:** Understanding of Trans-Pacific, European, and Latin American trade lanes.
- **Multimodal Sales Experience:** Proficiency in Air, Ocean, Import, Export, LCL/FCL, and Brokerage FTL/LTL sales.
- **Business Development Skills:** Demonstrated ability in territory management and business development.
- **Technical Proficiency:** Familiarity with software applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
