**Job Responsibilities:**
We are in search of a seasoned Business Development Executive to enhance our footprint in the Northeast market. This newly created role presents an excellent opportunity for driven sales professionals who thrive in a flexible, results-oriented setting.

**Key Responsibilities Include:**
  • Cultivating and securing new freight forwarding business across all modes and services in the Northeast region.
  • Reporting directly to senior management.
  • Additional duties encompass: scheduling appointments, qualifying leads, conducting warm and cold outreach, pricing strategies, proposal development, in-person client presentations, and delivering innovative solutions to acquire new business. You will also be tasked with nurturing client relationships through collaboration with our operations team and global partners.
  • Effective use of the CargoWise system (CRM), pipeline reporting, and internal communication regarding sales cycles are essential for success in this role.

**Job Requirements:**
  • Demonstrated success in Freight Forwarding Sales.
  • A college degree is preferred; however, a high school diploma coupled with proven sales experience may be acceptable.
  • Familiarity with the Northeast regional markets.
  • Knowledge of Trans-Pacific, European, and Latin American trade routes.
  • Experience in multimodal sales (Air, Ocean, Import, Export, LCL/FCL, Brokerage FTL/LTL).
  • Proven business development and territory management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
