Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Residential Advisor to join our team at Insight Global. As a Residential Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring a positive and supportive living environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Student Accountability: Accurately track and account for students present on duty, ensuring a safe and secure living environment.
  • Counseling and Guidance: Provide support and advice to students on personal issues, including attitude, behavior, and relationships, promoting healthy decision-making and conflict resolution.
  • Behavior Monitoring: Oversee student activities in the dorm to ensure appropriate conduct, maintaining a positive and respectful atmosphere.
  • Maintenance Assistance: Direct and assist students in maintaining and cleaning dorm areas, promoting a clean and safe living environment.
  • Independent Living Training: Educate students on independent living and leadership skills, empowering them to take responsibility for their actions and decisions.
  • Behavior Reinforcement: Encourage positive behaviors and hold students accountable for negative actions, promoting a culture of respect and responsibility.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain shift logs, enter data into the Center Information System, and report critical incidents, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Case Management Support: Assist Dorm Supervisor, Counselor, and team members with case management services, providing comprehensive support to students in need.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with other Independent Living Advisors to complete shift duties and communicate effectively, promoting a cohesive and supportive team environment.
  • Student Peer Court Advisor: Act as an advisor to the Student Peer Court, providing guidance and support to students involved in the peer court process.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
