Position Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our active adult community. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance requirements of the property.

  • Promote a community atmosphere that enhances residents' lifestyles while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Establish strong relationships with residents.
  • Address all service requests and work orders promptly and professionally, adhering to the standards set by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the property to ensure resident safety and the integrity of the building; report any issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Assist with maintenance tasks, work orders, and unit turnovers as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Implement a preventative maintenance schedule as assigned.
  • Provide emergency service during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Maintain and repair community-owned equipment.
  • Assist with painting tasks in apartments and common areas.
  • Perform grounds maintenance, including trash collection, landscaping, and cleaning common areas.
  • Weekly cleaning of the pool deck.
  • Support appliance repairs and replacements as necessary.
  • Assist with the installation of new light fixtures and ceiling fans.
  • Help maintain pool equipment and monitor chemical levels.
  • Safely operate and maintain property vehicles when required.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Comply with Fair Housing regulations.

Qualifications:

We seek a customer-oriented Maintenance Technician who can collaborate effectively with the team to fulfill the community's maintenance needs while building positive relationships with residents.

  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Self-motivated and ambitious.
  • Strong communication skills; proficiency in English is required.
  • Preferred experience in residential property management, maintenance, construction, electrical, plumbing, or painting.
  • Proficient in computer use, including email and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and insured vehicle.
