Key Responsibilities

- Client Engagement: Welcome clients and their families in court, respond to basic questions, and guide them to the right personnel. Aid in intake processes and keep clients updated on their case progress.
- Document Preparation: Draft and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports as instructed by attorneys and other team members.
- Court Preparation: Aid in organizing materials for court sessions, including copying, arranging, and distributing necessary paperwork.
- Team Collaboration: Offer support to attorneys and colleagues, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; some college coursework or an associate degree is preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in an office environment, ideally within a legal or public service context.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Confidentiality: Capability to manage sensitive and confidential information with care.
- Legal Knowledge: Basic understanding of legal terminology is advantageous.
