CCS Program Coordinator

The CCS Administrator plays a pivotal role in orchestrating work planning, oversight, and coordination for the JFS CCS initiatives. This position is crucial for ensuring meticulous record and file management for the CCS team, thereby guaranteeing adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor program staff, providing comprehensive training, planning work tasks, and setting performance objectives while conducting staff evaluations and managing recruitment processes.
  • Oversee the credentialing process for CCS personnel to ensure ongoing compliance with service contracts and regulatory standards.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality protocols for all consumer information.
  • Act as the representative for JFS and the CCS program, engaging with various stakeholders including community organizations, funding bodies, and regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure full compliance with all documentation and reporting obligations as stipulated in contracts and agreements.
  • Serve as a CCS Mental Health/Substance Abuse Professional in the absence of staff for consultations.
  • Administer and monitor database systems and consumer records in accordance with applicable county, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Evaluate billing eligibility for CCS consumers to align with Medicaid requirements.
  • Implement and assess all DHHS, CARS, and CCS policies in accordance with DHS 36 statute.

General Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, along with automobile insurance throughout employment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and respect for Jewish culture and traditions, as well as the agency's diverse population.
  • Willingness to accept additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and caregiver background checks as required by state regulations.
  • Verification of immunizations and screenings for Tuberculosis, Flu, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella.
  • A Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, School or Educational Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work is preferred.
  • Completion of 3000 hours of supervised clinical experience, primarily with clients experiencing mental health or substance use disorders.
  • Possession of a valid Wisconsin license from the relevant Examining Boards (Social Work preferred) and good standing with the Licensing Board.
  • Fulfillment of the CCS Mental Health Professional requirements as per WI Chapter DHS.
  • Experience in case management with adults and/or youth, with a preference for CCS experience.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience in case management, demonstrating progressive responsibility.
  • Familiarity with various case management systems is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills, maintaining high professional standards for self and team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated clinical and cultural competency necessary for effective job performance.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with consumers, agency staff, and community professionals.
  • Knowledge of CCS and community resources.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) management systems is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and service provider documentation systems.
