Position Overview:


As an Educational Program Coordinator I within the Cardiovascular Center, you will oversee the coordination of departmental educational initiatives by organizing events, compiling enrollment and educational resources, and adhering to compliance protocols, all under general supervision.

You will support educational goals by monitoring and relaying information pertinent to educational programs. This position also entails assisting in the creation of educational materials in accordance with institutional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate in the creation of various materials, including educational content, promotional materials, websites, forms, and reports.
2. Work together to establish, execute, and sustain comprehensive databases related to educational and research initiatives within the Center.
3. Maintain a program timeline, ensuring deadlines for program components are tracked effectively.
4. Keep a thorough understanding of accreditation, board, and institutional requirements. Coordinate and oversee activities related to these standards to guarantee full compliance for graduate courses.
5. Potentially oversee program budgets.
6. Assist with the administration of internal grants for trainees.
7. Organize both internal and external meetings, site visits, and special events.
8. Conduct or facilitate training sessions for faculty and trainees.

Coordinate the recruitment and organization of instructors and speakers for trainee seminars, events (such as Postdoctoral Appreciation Week, CVC Research Retreat), mentor education, special conferences, and the graduate course managed by the Cardiovascular Center.

Collect, analyze, and distribute program data, including reporting progress and outcomes to program stakeholders.
Create brochures, flyers, handbooks, and other educational resources.
Coordinate assessment and evaluation activities for the graduate course, trainee seminars, and additional events.
Provide information, support, and problem-solving assistance for leaders, faculty, and staff.
Implement institutional or program activities (e.g., educational events, training, orientation, schedules).
Assist the Program Manager with the quarterly center newsletter, monthly funding newsletter, monthly trainee digest, and monthly trainee newsletter.
Qualifications:
Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.

Minimum Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree
