The CCS Program Coordinator is tasked with overseeing the planning, direction, supervision, and coordination of the JFS CCS initiatives. This role includes ensuring meticulous record-keeping and file management for the CCS team, thereby guaranteeing adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, policies, and procedures. Additionally, the Coordinator will manage the growth and enhancement of the JFS CCS programs through strategic marketing initiatives, quality assurance protocols, productivity monitoring, and comprehensive data analysis to achieve clear project management goals under the guidance of the Director of Social Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead program staff, providing orientation and training, organizing work assignments, setting and maintaining individual and program performance objectives, and conducting staff performance assessments; responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new personnel.
- Oversee and track the credentialing status of CCS personnel (including personal credentials) to ensure ongoing compliance with relevant service contracts and regulations.
- Ensure strict adherence to all levels and forms of consumer confidentiality.
- Act as the representative of JFS and the CCS program to various stakeholders, including community organizations, funding bodies, regulatory agencies, referral sources, and professional entities. Serve as the liaison among contracting agencies, other organizations, and JFS.
- Maintain comprehensive compliance with all documentation, reporting, and service delivery obligations associated with contracts and agreements.
- Serve as a CCS Mental Health/Substance Abuse Professional in the absence of available staff for consultations.
- Supervise and maintain database systems and consumer records, ensuring compliance with county, state, and federal standards.
- Monitor billing eligibility for all CCS clients to ensure alignment with Medicaid requirements.
- Assess and implement all relevant DHHS, CARS, and CCS policies as stipulated by DHS 36 regulations.
General Requirements
- Possession of a valid driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle, and automobile insurance coverage throughout employment, along with successful completion of a motor vehicle record and insurability check.
- Knowledge of, or willingness to learn about, Jewish culture and traditions, as well as those of the Agency's clientele.
- Acceptance of additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check with the Wisconsin Department of Justice and a caregiver background check with relevant Wisconsin departments.
- Verification of immunizations and screenings for Tuberculosis, Flu, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (Chicken Pox).
- A Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, School or Educational Psychology, Counseling and Guidance, Counseling Psychology, or Social Work is preferred.
- Completion of 3000 hours of supervised clinical experience, primarily involving clients with mental health or substance use disorders.
- Possession of a valid Wisconsin license from one of the following boards: Social Work (preferred), Marriage and Family Therapy, or Professional Counselors (LCSW, LMFT, LPC), in good standing with the Licensing Board.
- Fulfillment of the CCS Mental Health Professional requirements as outlined in WI Chapter DHS b) (1) and (3).
- Compliance with the Substance Abuse Professional criteria as described in WI Chapter DHS b) (1) and (3). SAC credentials are preferred.
- At least 2 years of case management experience with adults and/or youth; CCS experience is preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in case management, demonstrating progressively increasing responsibilities.
- Familiarity with various case management systems (TCM, CSP, Wraparound Milwaukee, My Choice Family Care, etc.) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, maintaining high standards of professional conduct for oneself and staff.
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent thinking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated clinical and cultural competency essential for fulfilling assigned job responsibilities.
- Ability to effectively engage with consumers, agency personnel, and other community professionals within a collaborative framework.
- Knowledge of CCS and community resources and services.
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) management systems.
- Proficiency in computer usage, including Microsoft Office applications and service provider documentation systems.
