POSITION OVERVIEW:


The Field Sales Representative for On-Premise Accounts will be tasked with building and nurturing robust relationships with clients, advocating for Murphy Distributors' product range, and meeting sales objectives.

This role will focus on managing sales efforts to both new and existing clients within the designated territory. The primary responsibility will involve generating sales and securing orders from current or potential on-premise clients.

The representative will predominantly operate outside of the corporate office, engaging in direct sales activities through face-to-face meetings, product tastings, and similar outreach initiatives.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
ALL Establish and cultivate relationships with both new and existing clients while enhancing product distribution to on-premise venues within the territory.
Achieve specific sales targets and focus goals on a monthly and annual basis.
Formulate and implement strategic sales initiatives to surpass revenue expectations.
Develop and sustain strong connections with current clients while proactively pursuing new business opportunities with on-premise establishments.
Conduct engaging product demonstrations and tastings to highlight our extensive selection of liquor products.
Collaborate with the marketing team and Sales Director to execute impactful promotional campaigns.
Analyze market trends, competitor actions, and customer preferences to uncover new business prospects.
Consistent and regular attendance is a fundamental aspect of this role.
May undertake additional responsibilities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably within the liquor sector.
Demonstrated success in liquor sales or comparable fields.
In-depth knowledge of the liquor industry and its products.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
Results-oriented with a proven history of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
