As a Business Development Executive, you will be instrumental in generating new business prospects within a highly competitive sales environment. Your role will involve overseeing the sales process from initial outreach to finalizing agreements. Working in tandem with account managers and colleagues, you will cultivate and sustain profitable relationships with clients. With commitment and effort, you can achieve an attractive on-target earnings exceeding 100k in your first year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential clients
- Initiate sales activities, including arranging meetings and conducting presentations
- Close deals by establishing strong rapport with prospective clients, demonstrating service offerings, and effectively addressing inquiries
- Commit a minimum of 20 hours weekly to prospecting efforts
- Utilize a customer relationship management system for effective data management
- Maintain a prioritized prospect list within the CRM
- Encourage a positive workplace through effective communication and teamwork with clients and peers
- Execute additional tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in outside sales
- Proven success in achieving or surpassing sales objectives
- Strong skills in prospecting and territory management
- Familiarity with CRM systems, including precise data entry and organization
- Sales training certification is advantageous
- Experience in closing short-cycle B2B transactions
- Outgoing demeanor with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for challenges
- Structured methodology in sales processes and client engagement
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate efforts and collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
