Role Summary:

Under the guidance of supervisory staff, our Administrative Coordinators play a crucial role in welcoming patients and visitors with professionalism and courtesy, acting as a vital link between patients and healthcare professionals. This position ensures that all necessary documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company protocols. All personnel are expected to uphold the highest standards of ethics and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients and visitors to the facility in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring all required forms are collected.
  • Gather demographic and insurance details, including photocopies of insurance cards and identification for record-keeping.
  • Register new patients in the system and prepare their charts, notifying medical staff of patient arrivals and organizing charts for upcoming appointments.
  • Manage multiple phone lines efficiently.
  • Collect co-payments and other fees at the time of service, providing receipts as necessary.
  • Record daily charges accurately.
  • Distribute condolence messages to families as requested.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly reception area.
  • Identify and report no-show appointments for patient follow-up.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
  • Adhere to office policies and procedures to enhance front office efficiency, providing support for other roles as needed.
  • Prepare correspondence, memos, and other documents as directed by supervisors.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. This is an entry-level position, ideally suited for candidates with 0-3 years of experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Physical Requirements:
