Telematics Systems Engineer

Mobis North America is seeking a proficient Telematics Engineer to engage in testing and development activities at our R&D Center.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will:
- Interpret Telematics specifications and functional requirements.
- Develop and implement a validation plan for Telematics functions.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the Head Unit (HU) system and its subsystems.
- Collaborate with headquarters on both new and existing Telematics feature requirements.
- Facilitate effective communication with software design and validation teams to enhance overall system performance.
- Prepare technical evaluations and proposals for engineering changes, including the creation of test cases based on these proposals.
- Participate in design reviews for both software and hardware components.
- Define and manage testing and design requirements.
- Oversee project management and conduct project reviews with the team.
- Create system test plans aligned with specifications and standards.
- Utilize issue logging software such as JIRA and Polarion, including the ability to create test cases within these systems.
- Analyze test results using various log types.
- Maintain communication with headquarters regarding design and testing definitions.
- Manage tasks and conduct reviews with the team.
- Develop system test plans based on established specifications and standards.
- Possess experience in Telematics, leadership, and task management.
- Familiarity with technologies and tools such as CAN, TCP/IP, and ADB.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork.
- Have experience with OEM vehicle development projects from inception to production.
Applicants should have:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in Telematics.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Design and validation experience in Telematics.
Local domestic travel is expected to be around 5-10%.
