Position Summary: As a Controls Engineer, you will utilize standard engineering methodologies to design, develop, and maintain instrumentation and control systems. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the efficiency and reliability of these systems, thereby facilitating the seamless operation of various processes and technologies. Contribute to enhancing the precision and performance of our engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Automation & Process Improvement: Streamline manufacturing or similar processes through the implementation of instrumentation or control systems.

PLC Applications: Create new and modify existing PLC applications, interfaces, or embedded controls.

Technical Proficiency: Develop and refine PLC or HMI applications, interfaces, or embedded controls.

Documentation & Standards: Ensure the accurate completion of all necessary documentation specifications and operational procedures.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

Additional Duties: Execute other tasks as assigned to support the team and operations.

Qualifications:

Experience: A bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment are typically required.

Knowledge: A solid understanding of Beckhoff PLC control systems for automated grinding; Fanuc machine controllers for Swiss-style machines; and Allen Bradley PLC systems for assembly machines. Proficiency in integrating IoT with machine controls and PLEX MRP systems is sought.

Skills: Ability to interpret work instructions, follow written and verbal directions, and communicate effectively. Must demonstrate manual dexterity and physical stamina, including the capability to lift and move heavy objects.

Teamwork: Strong ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
