- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and project ownership, ensuring that designs meet customer requirements and are delivered on time.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet project deadlines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including application engineers, validation engineers, and project managers to ensure compliance with customer specifications and timing requirements.
- Problem Solving: Analyze test results and analysis, and recommend corrective actions in cases of performance non-compliance.
- Communication: Prepare and deliver presentation materials to communicate project information to stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for automotive applications, with a focus on brake design and development.
- Skills: Solid understanding of design concepts, including mechanics, mechatronics, physics, kinematics, materials science, etc.
- Tools: Proficient in commercial design and analysis tools, such as CATIA, Auto-Cad, Solid Works, ME-10, MATLAB, etc.
- Intuitive Thinking: Apply intuitive thinking and pursue innovation and creative problem-solving.
- Problem-Solving Tools: Experience applying various problem-solving tools.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, writing, and verbal communication skills.
