We are currently seeking a Customer Project Engineer to join our customer team in the US.

Key Responsibilities of the Customer Project Engineer:

In this role, you will serve as the primary engineer at customer sites, ensuring the successful launch of high-quality audio systems.

  • Establish and nurture strong partnerships with customer engineering teams to fulfill all development requirements.
  • Collaborate with customer design teams to guarantee effective mechanical and electrical integration of loudspeakers into vehicles.
  • Employ critical thinking to provide insights and customer perspectives during root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
  • Guide project initiatives to align with customer expectations and deliverables.
  • Lead post-validation product teardown reviews in collaboration with the customer.
  • Manage change requests with customers through engineering work orders.
  • Comprehend the customer product roadmap to identify and support new business growth opportunities.
  • Ensure that RFQ design proposals align with customer expectations while negotiating any deviations and sample requirements.
  • Travel domestically (10%) and internationally (5%) to facilitate the product development process.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, acoustic, or systems engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within the automotive sector.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including persuasiveness, a drive for success, and charisma.
  • Strong technical and conceptual abilities, with hands-on experience and attention to detail (familiarity with CAD Viewer, GD&T knowledge is advantageous).
  • Familiarity with loudspeaker design and acoustics is a plus.
  • A pragmatic, proactive, and solution-oriented team player in a diverse and multicultural environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with flawless oral and written English; proficiency in Dutch, Spanish, or Chinese is a bonus.
